Green Bioenergy Project

The bioenergy plant project was first presented to the community in a public event in June 2015 at the Town Hall ("Renewable Rhythms"). Since then there has been steady progress towards achieving MASG's aim of zero net emissions.

This significant project can help the community achieve ZNET across the whole shire and be an example for other regional communities.

Our goal is to create a small zero waste, odour and pollution-free facility, using only organic non-recyclable waste material, to produce clean renewable energy within north central Victoria.
