What is CCC
Established in 2024, the Community Climate Collective (CCC) was created by local community groups and organisations who saw the value of working more closely together to strengthen our collective impact.
We know that many local for-purpose organisations are volunteer-led, under-resourced and stretched for time. By connecting, sharing and supporting one another, CCC helps build on our collective strengths, making it easier to collaborate, learn from each other and amplify the positive change we’re creating in our communities.
Who are CCC
Lead by MASG, CCC is a network of community groups, organisations and individuals. Representation includes:

- Mount Alexander Shire Council – rep: Climate Change Coordinator
- The Good Op-Shop
- YIMBY Community Composting
- Bendigo Sustainability Group
- Castlemaine Institute
- Loddon Mallee Primary Health Unit
- Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance
- Women’s Climate Congress
- Nalderun Education Aboriginal Corporation
- Mt Alexander Zero Net Working Group
- Individual community members
Recognising most representatives are volunteers and/or work part-time, therefore many cannot attend in person or online, we make monthly gathering minutes and relevant information availlable to all CCC members.
Monthly Gatherings
CCC meets 12:15pm – 1:45pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with the options of in-person at the Castlemaine Community House, or online via Google Meet.
All are welcome to join, bring lunch to munch and share if you’d like too.
